#073 Netherlands Antilles...Thanks Sergery!

The 165ct stamp was from 2009 December stamps issue celebrating Kwanzaa.

Kwanzaa is a weeklong celebration held in the United States honoring universal African heritage and culture, marked by participants lighting a kinara (candle holder).[1] It is observed from December 26 to January 1 every year.

The f2.50 stamp was issued in 1986 depicting Governmental Building in St.Maarten.

The Island Territory of Sint Maarten is one of five island areas of the Netherlands Antilles, encompassing the southern half of the island of Saint Martin/Sint Maarten. Sint Maarten borders the French overseas collectivity of Saint-Martin, which occupies the northern half of the island.

As of October 10, 2010, the Netherlands Antilles will cease to exist. The countries of Curaçao and St. Maarten will be formed in its place, whereas the remaining islands will become public entities of The Netherlands.
