#046 Malaysia...Thanks Liang!


The 5 sen stamp shows a cacao tree,which is native to the deep tropical region of the Americas. Its seeds are used to make cocoa powder and chocolate.Cacao is cultivated on over 70,000 km² (27,000 mi²) worldwide.

The 30 sen stamp illustrates a Red Leaf Monkey,which is a species of primate in the Cercopithecidae family. It is found on the southeast Asian island of Borneo and the nearby smaller Karimata.

The other 2 stamps are from 30th anniversary Malaysia-China Diplomatic Relationship set issued in 2004.
